Congelese Authorities Detain Igali

President of the Nigeria Wrestling Federation Daniel Igali was on Wednesday held and detained for over 8 hours at the Brazzaville International airport by Congolese authorities before he was eventually released.
  Amarignis.blogspot.com gathered that , Igali  was told by the Congolese authorities that his name was on the official list given them by the organizers. Igali’s release was only made possible after the intervention of officials of the National Sports Commission and the Nigerian embassy in Brazzaville.

The Olympic gold medalist who was carrying a certified accreditation for the games also complained that his athletes underwent the official weighing-in in his absence, saying it was a dubious ploy by the host country to frustrate Team Nigeria.
