Ikorodu United And MFM Qualification To Nigeria Elite League,A Big Deal ,Inyama

The qualification of two privately owned clubs from the Nigeria National  League (NNL) to the Nigeria Premier League has been described as a good development for the domestic League in Country.


Mountain of Fire Miracles Ministries (MFM) Football Club and Ikorodu United FC  all from Lagos are among the four teams that gained promotion to the Nigeria Premier League at the end of the 2014/15 season.


Chairman of the Nigeria National League,High Chief Emeka Inyama, who hailed the development told amarignis.blogspot.com  that the involvement of the two clubs will further generate more private interest.

"What happened in the second tier League is good Football.good ownership and administration which obviously means an increase in the number of privately owned clubs at the elite class,this is what the League Management Company,the LMC really wants.It shows the way to go and is good for the development of the League in Nigeria"

Chief Iyama,who is also the chairman of  top League side Abia Warriors of Umuahia,in Abia State thanked the LMC led by Shehu Dikko for what he said was a huge synergy in the just concluded season.


Two government owned sides,Plateau United FC of Jos and Niger Tornadoes FC,of Minna ,also qualified to the elite class.
