Mountain of Fire Miracles Ministries (MFM) Football Club and
Ikorodu United FC all from Lagos are among the four teams that gained promotion to the Nigeria
Premier League at the end of the 2014/15 season.
Chairman of the Nigeria National League,High Chief Emeka
Inyama, who hailed the development told amarignis.blogspot.com that the involvement of the two clubs will further
generate more private interest.
"What happened in the second tier League is good Football.good ownership and administration which obviously means an increase in the number of privately owned clubs at the elite class, this is what the League Management Company, the LMC really wants. It shows the way to go and is good for the development of the League in Nigeria"
Two government owned sides,Plateau United FC of
Jos and Niger Tornadoes FC,of Minna ,also qualified to the elite class.
