Report from the
camp of Nigeria Premier League side,Nasarawa United has confirmed that the
teams captain ,Baba Idris is no more.
Baba Idris died Monday evening,in
a an hospital in Lafia,Nasarawa State after a brief illness.

United’s team manager Solomon Babanjah
while confirming the sad and unfortunate news to amarignis.blogspot.com said they are still in shock over Baba Idris
death. He described late Baba Idris a very humble and dedicated player.
"I am confused and cannot believe that he is no more,he has been sick a week now ,doctors say he was having Pneumonia and only this evening(Monday) we were told he had given up the ghost"
Continuing Solomon said "Baba Idris was such a committed and dedicated player who gave his all,he grew from the rank of assitant captain before he was fully capped as our new captain,he is one very good leader and player i ever worked with,may his soul rest in peace ,Solomon concluded.
He also disclosed that Nasarawa United will do every thing in its capacity to give the late player a befitting burial according to moslem rights.
Baba is was aged twenty five years and left a wife and a child ,he hails from Lafia Local government Area of Nasarawa State.
He will be buried Tuesday 29
