Distractions Killing Football In Nigeria , Emeka Ezeugo

Retired Former Nigerian International ,Emeka Ezeugo
By Emeka Ezeugo:
The Talking Points has been Oliseh/Enyama Faceoff, Enyama's International Retirement, Sporting Media's Landslide Support of the Corrupt Custodians of football, FIFA's unending catalogue of scandal, Blatter, Platini and Valke keeping it scandalous and disagreeing with the Ethics Committee's 90 day suspension, etc. There's no end in sight to the distractions. But don't let them fool you or leave you incoherent, disheveled or distracted. Keep your eyes on the ball, the bigger picture, dragging the donkey/horse to the stream and ensuring it drinks water, force the damn horse/donkey to stay rehydrated.

All is not well with the people's game. This is the true story and picture of things for about two decades. The President of Nigeria must hear this from the real stakeholders, not the grossly corrupt cabal that runs football deceitfully. The President must not hear this from the custodians of the game and their cohorts in the Media, lobbyists and parasites that know nothing about the game but sadly remain by default the custodians of the beautiful game. The President must for once institute change from the Sporting arenas of Nigeria where the change mantra can have a far-reaching effect vis-a-vis appointment of a conscious sportsman/woman. We're marching to Aso Rock soon to make this happen, ensure that our moribund Sporting Industry is totally revamped beyond compare. Stay tuned for the day of greater reckoning. Am counting on you, my trusted compatriots
