Nigeria National League Will Not Interfere In Protest and Appeal Cases

Chief Inyama
Chairman of the Nigeria National League (NNL),High Chief Emeka Inyama, has described the 2014/2015 season just ended as an exciting one for the second tier League.

Inyama decried what he called desperation on the part of clubs to gain promotion at all cost and told amarignis.blogspot.com that the NNL will not interfere on cases before the judicial bodies of the Nigeria Football Federation, the Disciplinary and the Appeals Committees until it is made public.

"The major problem here is the desperation of clubs ,you know there is a lot of interest in clubs wanting to gain promotion,it is really a tough fight"

On the cases before the Disciplinary and Appeals Committees Chief Inyama said "The National League will take interim decisions in some cases subject to the Disciplinary Committee sitting over the matter, both the Disciplinary and Appeals Committees are  judicial bodies and we do not intervene in their affair,we don't interpret, after decisions have been taken by the  Committees,it is sent to the National League or any other League involved for action,so ours is to await the outcome of the Committees decision and not to comment on it ,he

The Organizing and Disciplinary Committee led by Barrister Christopher Green, is yet to make public the outcome of protests filed by Adamawa United and Katsina Spotlight that it treated recently.
