Process Of Recruiting National Coaches in Nigeria An Aberration ,Bamigboye!

Bitrus Bewarange ,President of the Nigeria coaches Association.
The Nigeria Football Coaches Association has berated the method of recruiting coaches for national teams in the country and says it is  as an aberration to the standard  rules of engagement in the profession. This was part of the high points contained in its communique made available to amarignis.blogspot.com at the end of  its monthly Assembly in Abuja, held April 2nd ,2016 at the popular Area 3 Playground in the Federal Capital Territory.

The FCT chapter of the coaches body through its chairman,Godwin Bamigboye in strong terms condemned the appointment of coaches to the various national teams saying the process lacked professionalism in approach.
" We seek for true standards in recruiting and contracting of coaches for our national teams ,it appears allcomers affairs, the NFF must show enough concern in helping us create required standards in picking coaches, what are the criteria,do they belong to our coaches Association .Through professionals belong to their career unions that is the way to grow and protect one another"

Continuing Bamigboye said "We  also need qualified people in the technical committee, people with the right knowledge of the game ,it is not a place for any manner of persons, you can imagine the president of a professional body like us ,Bitrus Bewarng is even a member of the NFF Technical Committee,
coaches are professionals and must be made part of the Technical committee of the NFF he submitted"

The Coaches Association equally frowned at the  purported plan by the Nigeria Football Federation to hire a foreign coach to tutor the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Bamigbo added the NFF must endeavour to ensure a crisis free Football Federation, noting that too many  fights  is impeding the growth of the game.
