The Nigeria National
League (NNL) is awaiting the outcome of
ALL recent appeals and protests by various clubs currently with the
Disciplinary Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF),to enable it
conclude on the 2014/15 League season.
According to the media head of the second tier League,Amar Ignis,the secretariat received
One appeal and three protests which it has accordingly, forwarded to the NFF Disciplinary Committee to treat .
The cases in hand
are: 1.An appeal lodged by Kogi United against the decision of the Disciplinary
Committee to award maximum points to Adamawa United in their previous match played.
2.PROTEST CASES:
A – Adamawa United
instituted a protest ,contesting the result of the Katsina Spotlight FC versus
Plateau United week 14 match,they are
seeking the cancellation of the result for not starting at 4:pm, they claim the game started 13 minutes after.
B –Katsina Spotlight versus Plateau United. Officials of Spotlight
are saying the result of the match should be cancelled and match awarded to
them,with a note that the match started 13 minutes after expected kick off time
of 4:pm and that match officials(Referees) exhibited poor conduct and interpretation of the rules.
C –The Final protest
was fielded by Ekiti United , protesting that Abia Comets featured an ineligible player in
the person of Mr.Daniel Elijah,in their week 14 match which they (Ekiti United)
won 2 -1 .They are seeking to be awarded
maximum points.
