BATTLE FOR THE SOUL OF NIGERIA FOOTBALL:Giwa Arrested And Released

Proprietor of FC Giwa ,Chris Giwa who is laying strong claim to the presidency of the Nigeria Football Federation, Friday was said to have been  arrested by the police at the secretariat of the Nigeria Football Federation,located in Wuse Zone ,7,Abuja

A member of the Board of the Giwa led NNF  faction, Jide Fashikun, though denied the arrest told amarignis.com that Ambassador Chris Giwa strolled  in Abuja to resume office at the Glass House as the President of the NFF,and spent about 30 minutes.

According to Jide,this is sequel to the order of the Federal High Court Jos which on the 8^th of April returned him(Giwa) back to office sacking by extension of a previous nullification order on the 30^th September 2016 election that produced Amaju Pinnick.

Giwa’s resumption was preceded by a bailiff from the court that officially served the court ruling from the Federal High Court Jos.

Giwa was said to have walked into the  premises of the NFF around 4pm .

Giwa arrived  the Glasshouse secretariat, causing panic and apprehension,the security operatives  were said to have quickly shut the gate against Giwa and his lieutenants but they still found their way in .

Meanwhile,the Road Safety prevented some  journalists from entering NFF premises.Most of the journalist present went to the Wuse police Station with the  Area divisional  head of police and Chris Giwa.
