Super Eagles Camp Bubbles Ahead Of AFCON Qualifier Against Tanzania

The camp of the Super Eagles of Nigeria came alive Tuesday with  the arrival of London quartet of team captain   ,Mikel Obi ,his vice ,Ahmed Musa,Kelechi Iheancho and Victor Moses  at the Le Meridien Hotel ,in Uyo,Akwa Ibom State,South South Nigeria.


The arrival of the English Premier League players swelled the number of players in camp to twenty for Saturday's 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania.

Moses Simon and Kingsley Madu are expected to arrive Wednesday while first choice goal keeper,Carl Ikeme will arrive Thursday,media officer Toyin Ibitoye told amarignis.blogspot.com.


Also in camp are Rio 2016 bronze medal winner Abdullahi Shehu,  Porto's young defender Chidozie Awaziem, Nosa Igiebor and Leon Balogun.


Others in camp include, Wilfred Ndidi, Nosa Igiebor, Leon Balogun,Elderson Chiejile,Imoh Ezekiel,Odion Ighalo and Onazi Ogenyi.

Brown Ideye, William Troost-Ekong, Odion Ighalo, Elederson Echiejile and Emmanuel Daniel,all reported on Monday.


New Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr, arrived with his assistants,Everson Ferreira, Jean-Luc Royer, Nabil Trabelsi, Alloy Agu,after the flight delay in Lagos Monday.

 The game is billed for the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium(The Nest of Champions), Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

The first meeting between the Super Eagles and the Taifa Stars of Tanzania ended goalless in Dare sa laam. 

Meanwhile,the Taifa Stars of Tanzania are expected to depart Dar es Salaam, the Tanzanian capital city, for Lagos enroute Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on Wednesday for Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The Tanzania Football Federation,say the team which began training for the game on Monday ,will jet out for the match on Wednesday with
head coach Charles Boniface Mkwasa insisting they have more than pride to play for in Uyo.
