Bulls defeated Lagos Union Bankers 63-53 in a keenly contested match at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium,Lagos earlier today.
Only on Thursday ,they lost to defending Champions ,Kano Pillars in a nerve wrecking battle 63-67.
Gombe Bulls Kano Pillars made it through to the play offs by picking three wins out In Group A ,they claimed the 2nd slot of the group pushing through to the semi-finals after getting a hard earned victory over Lagos Islanders. In this group all three teams had one win each, because of this it had to go down to points difference. Gombe Bulls needed to win their last game vs Islanders with 7 points and they got the needed points defeating the Lagos Islanders with 10 points. Islanders were 3rd in the group while Customs ended on the 4th place team.
