Head coach of Nigeria’s under seventeen Women team, Bala
Nikyu has expressed confidence in the ability of his wards to overrun their
opponents in Saturday’s first leg of the 2016 FIFA Women’s World cup scheduled
to hold in Jordan.
Coach Nikyu knows that the South Africans are no
pushovers but he says his wards his girls are ready.
Hear him: "From the look of things my girls are ready,i think we are on course,we will not disrespect the South Africans ,they deserve our respect but i can confidently say we will triumph.We are in earnest preparation and we will not disappoint come Saturday"
Speaking further coach Bala Nikyu said "We know the importance of playing first at home and in front of our fans,i believe we can get a comfortable lead ahead of the return leg in South Africa".
The match against Nigeria's "Flamingoes" and their South African opponent "Bantwana" will be played at the
National Stadium, Abuja on Saturday, March 12, at 4pm.
Nigeria thrashed Namibia 9-0 on aggregate to
draw up the South African fixtures.
The FIFA U-17 Women’s world Cup is scheduled to
hold in four Cities in Jordan from September 30th throught to the 21st
of October,2016.
