The
management of Nigeria Premier League side, Sunshine Stars of Akure have sacked their
head coach, Samson Unuanel and clubs Technical Director, Henry Abiodun .
The
management attributed this to the internal wrangling between the two coaches which
has affected the team’s performance in the League.
Sunshine Queens' coach, Kayode
Olujohungbe has been mandated to take charge of the team in the interim till a
substantive coach is appointed.
The
Akure Gunners continued their dwindling form with 1-2 loss to Mountain of Fire
and Miracles Ministries on Sunday.
Sunshine Stars are currently 18th
on the NPFL table.
