Onwudinjo Continues To Strike Gold In The Maltese League

Onwudinjo.
Enterprising St Andrews Football Club of Malta left  winger back,Nigerian born Francis Chinatu Onwudinjo has continued to win accolades for himself following his excellent run of form in the Maltese Premier League (BOV),despite his teams not too impressive showing so far.



Onwudinjo who won the Player of the month in February,has also been named the best weekly Player for the third time running to the delight of his coach Jose Borg.

The twenty three year old former player of  amateur side Parkert Football Club of Owerri we gathered is being highly sought after by many scouts to leave his modest side in Malta. 
Onwudinjo is reveling in the moment and prays that would he gain  him more attention.

Continuing he said "This is only a little beginning for me, it is my hope that this will catapult me to greater heights and attract bigger clubs to come for me"


Incidentally many Nigerian youths are plying their trade in the BOV Maltese Premier League,it is surprising that Alfred Effiong of Nigeria is leading goal scorer in the League with 16 goals so far to his credit.

Onwudinjo said he his also encouraged by the presence of many his country men horning their skills in the East Midlands  countries League.

Other Nigerians in the Maltese League are Oseghale Victor Lucky,Obinna Obiefule,Samuel Chukidi,Uchenna Callistus Umeh,Haruna Shola Shodiya.Frank Temile ,Saviour Fidelis ;
Lucky Omeruo and Osa Guobadia
