Nigeria Cricket Federation Pick Fourteen for World Cricket League

Coach Obruthe.

 Head coach senior Cricket team of Nigeria,Obruthe Ogbimi has picked fourteen cricketers ahead of the 2016 World Cricket League Division five  scheduled to bowl off  in New Jersey Island, in the month of May after an intensified second phase of preparation which just ended in Abuja.

A proud coach Obruthe said he was satisfied with his  players for the two weeks camping so far,noting that they have met his  expectations.

"It is gratifying to note the level of fitness and readiness of the players ,i am particularly thrilled with their responses to all we are teaching them"

Captain Adegbola Kunle tops the list of players selected ,others are 
Ogunlola Joshua, Onikoyi Ademol,Azzez Salako,Seye Olympio,Ayannaike Joshua,Udoh Friday Okpe Isaac, Akachukwu Chima, Onwuzilike Chimezie,Oyede Leke.

The rest include  ,Abiodun Abioye, Jide Bejide,Adedeji sessan

Work began as usual with the coach taking the players through their paces in fitness, bowling, Batting and fielding drills. The team manager expressed some level of confidence in the way the players have shaped up and approached the training regime.

Seye Olympio made a glorious century high point after scoring as  one of the eight that was invited to the join the initial fourteen from the first phase.He won  won a  cash price donated by the Team Manager Mr Sanmi Ajayi and also a brand new bat by the Head coach Mr Obruthe Clive Ogbimi.
