Nigeria’s senior women’s team the Super Falcons have booked
their place in the 10th Africa Women’s Cup of Nations , Cameroun 2016,after
thrashing Senegal 2-nill at home to earn a 3-1 on aggregate.
The Super Falcons yesterday evening at the Mainbowl of the
National Stadium Abuja confirmed their superiority over the Teranga Lioness
with Rita Chukwelu who
plies her trade with Club Umea Ik in the Swedish Women’s Premier League got
Nigeria’s first goal in the 36th Minute with Ibom Queens of Uyo midfielder,Osarenoma
Igbinovia scoring the second goal on the 46 minutes.
The Falcons were forced to a one all draw in the first leg
play in Dakar,Senegal.
Head coach of Super Falcons of Nigeria,Florence Omagbemi qualified Nigeria to the 10th Africa Women’s Cup of Nations to staged
in Cameroon in November in her second
game in charge.
The Us based former Falcons captain,speaking to Radio Nigeria
after picking the ticket said the credit must go to the players.
"The victory is not only for me ,it is for the entire technical and the players ,we all did it together.We thanks and praises to God and to all Nigerians for supporting us.
"Senegal tried to push us,we missed a penalty through Asisat Oshoala,hopefully the score line would have changed ,i think we need a stronger team than Senegal to play before the tournament proper in Cameroon to further size up the ,we will get there,we are still working,Omagmemi submitted.

Chichi Sandra,Onome Ebi,Sunday Esther and Okobi Ngozi.
Nigeri's captain Evelyn Nwabuko was not dressed for the match.
