Bewarang laments poor upgrading of Nigerian Football coaches

Bitris Bewarang

President of the Nigeria Football coaches Association,Bitrus Bewarang ,has lamented the fact that the country is yet to have coaches fully graded in the A and B Confederation of African Football  coaching licenses, describe it as a shame .
"It is a shame that we are still struggling to have our coaches enlisted for the CAF C-coaching license course when countries like Ghana,Egypt ,South Africa and many more have graduated over 2000 ,8000 and 10,000 coaches respectively"

The former Super Eagles assistant coach attributes this to lack of a technical director at the Nigeria Football Federation to properly direct affairs at the Nigeria Football "Glasshouse" According to him ,the Nigeria Football Federation should without delay swing into action to ensure the technical department becomes operational.
"We don't have a technical head that in operation that will push and formulate technical programmes and ideas to the NFF and this is slowing down development of the game in the country"

Bitrus Bewarang who is currently the general manager of Nigeria's second tie league side Plateau United Football Club of Jos however ,charged Nigerian coaches not to wait for the Football Federation but to go out and ensure they take efforts to get themselves upgraded
"The coaches must not wait for the Nff ,they must brace the challenge and help themselves to be better coaches"

Nigeria as at last count has graded only 400  CAF C -licensed coaches.
