The disciplinary
committee of the Nigeria football federation is yet to conclude on the
employment saga linking coach Stephen Keshi as one of the candidates
angling for the Ivorian national soccer side coaching job.
Speaking
with news men after the committee’s meeting today in Abuja ,the committee’s
chairman Chris Green said the board of the Nigeria football federation will
meet at a later date to state their final position on the matter.
"The decisions we arrived at have been sent to the executive committee of the NFF,it is not in my place to disclose them now, until they are ratified"
Earlier in
a closed door meeting with the disciplinary body , Stephen Keshi, denied
seeking employment with Cote d’ Voire.
Keshi
stated that his focus is on the 2017 Africa cup of Nations qualifier against
Tanzania.
"We should all should be doing now is how we are gonna prepare well and win in Tanzania, instead of listening to who has said this or that"
Meanwhile,
Super Eagles Captain Vincent Enyeama who was also expected to appear before the
committee for his uncomplimentary remarks on the Kaduna stadium and the state
of security in Kaduna again failed to appear before the committee for
questioning .
Green said "Enyeama is holidaying and we have taken our decision and sent to the exco, the issue of Enyeama has beeen over heated, and we want to handle it internally"
