Nigeria Cricket boss wants world cup staged in the country

Indication from the office of the boss of Cricket in Nigeria has it that the country is looking forward to hosting the world cup division five in the first quarter of 2016.
Emeka Onyeama president of the Nigeria Cricket Federation NCF is delighted at the recent show of recognition by the International Cricket Committee (ICC).


"Cricket has come to stay in Nigeria and we will prove our self as a cricket playing nation,we have to sustain this current position ,that is my dream we have have plans to host the rest of the world next year for the division five world cup"

Speaking further,Onyeama said "We are building a an international cricket wicket oval to ensure we realise our dream of hosting the world and we are doing everything possible to deliver the project in time "

The Cricket Federation is currently building a five wicket strip at the national stadium ,Abuja Nigeria's capital city.The west African country is currently ranked 19 by the world body.
