NIgeria National League Re-admits FC Taraba

FC Taraba of Jalingo are  now free to continue in the Nigeria National League,the NNL, for the 2015/16 season,the League body has announced.
 
The NNL had last week placed all matches involving the Jalingo side on hold following debt arrears owed players and officials who featured for them last season when they campaigned in the Nigeria Premier League.

Secretary of the second tier League body,Lawrence Katken, said the decision to lift the hold on FC Taraba is following the intervention of the League Management Company (LMC), organisers of the Nigeria Premier and the consideration of a letter of committement by the Taraba State government,stating that the governor Darius Dickson Ishaku government have  agreed to  pay the debts within a stipulated period of time.

This means that the group A2  MATCHDAY one fixture , between FC Taraba and Supreme Court FC,will be rescheduled .

FC Taraba will also have their week two away fixture with  Dreams Int'l FC of Benue, readjusted .FC Taraba are home in week three and will be hosting Gombe United at the Jolly Nyame Stadium,Jalingo.
