Nigeria Olympic Committee Closes Ranks With The National Sports Body On Athlete's Presentation Ahead Of The All Africa Games

Less than fifty days to the commencement of the 11th Africa Games in Brazzaville,Congo,the Nigeria Olympic Committee whose responsibility it is to showcase Team Nigeria to the rest of Africa,say the body is miles ahead in the discharge of its duties.
An obviously excited secretary of the Olympic body in Nigeria,Tunde Popoola told amarignis.blogspot.com the marriage between his Committee and the Sports Commission in ensuring Nigerian athletes will be ready for presentation at Africa's biggest Sports fiesta come September in the central African country.
"We have left nothing to chance,though it is not our duty to prepare the athletes as it is that of the Sports Commission but we are collaborating in ensuring good delivery of the athletes,we are supporting financially as well as it is our collective responsibility to package Team Nigeria" Popoola stated.

Speaking of the athletes readiness he said "As you are aware the athletes are at the High Performance centers in Abuja,Ibadan ,and Lagos,they are monitored on daily bases,i can say we are miles ahead,though we still have the Athletics trials but i can tell you,the Federation has kept our athletes very busy with the various Golden Leagues  and other events even as we hope to wrap it up in Calabar"

Popoola is a member of the Technical Committee set up by the Sports Commission to ensure adequate preparation for Team Nigeria.
