Victor Ezeji To be Unveiled by Heartland!

There are strong indication that veteran Nigerian player,Victor Ezeji may be unveiled Sunday by Heartland Football Club in the match Day 30 against Lobi Stars of Markudi at the Memorial Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri.
The news making the rounds say the Naze Millonaires as Heartland are foundly called by admirers has been granted approval to register Victor Ezeji for the remainder of matches in  the Glo-Nigeria Premier League for the 2014/15 season, a development that will see the player reach an iconic 20th uninterrupted career season as a professional player in the league.

Chairman of the League Management Company (LMC), Shehu Dikko said the approval was granted on the discretion of the LMC in line with relevant provisions of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Framework and Rules which empowers the LMC to grant waivers to applications for registration of a player outside the transfer window in special circumstances like this and for qualified players under the Elite Players Scheme or Youth Development Scheme.

Thirty four year old  Ezeji is one of the most successful and longest-playing players in the Nigeria Football League . He won two Africa Champions League with Enyimba football club of  Aba, in 2003 and 2004 under coaches Khadiri Ikhana and Okey Emordi.
He had stints with Sharks of Port-Harcourt(Twice),Eagle Cement,Enyimba of Aba (Twice),Dolphins of Port-Harcourt,Club Africain Tunisia,Crown of Ogbomosho,and now Heartland of Owerri .
Ezeji who stands 1.74m tall has made three appearances for Nigeria at the Super Eagles and scored three goals during the period.
Media officer of Heartland ,Cajetan Nwaokpara told amarignis.blogspot.com that he cannot confirm the news because he is yet to be briefed by the management of Heartland.
